“If we have the ball, the opponent can not attack!”

Dominant hockey is in my DNA. It means that our team needs to keep the ball in possession. We speed up if we recognize space in the opponents defense. This needs, besides excellent basic techniques, good positional play of players around the ball-possessor. It is also important to keep on passing the ball in stead of dribbling. To train this, we play a lot of games where players are only allowed maximum 3 or 4 touches.

This goals against Jilin shows that the Guangdong team has made this gameplay their own. It takes 12 passes in this attack to score the goal. The execution of the attack is fantastic.
